Girls' Generation's 'I Got a Boy' wins Video of the Year at 2013 YouTube Music Awards


Girls’ Generation’s “I Got A Boy” music video received the “Video of the Year” award at the 1st YouTube Music Awards. Girls' Generation beat out other acts such as Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber, PSY, Epic Rap Battles of History, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, One Direction and Lady Gaga to win the biggest category of the year. The winner was decided by fan shares of special nominee clips made by Youtube.

Tiffany was present at the event to receive the award for “Video of the Year” and thanked SM Entertainment, her fellow members, and SONE (fans of Girls’ Generation). Tiffany ended her acceptance speech by saying, “SONEs, I love you. Right now, it’s Girls’ Generation.”
